License terms — the summary

Last updated: 6 July 2026

This is a plain-English summary of how RADAR is licensed. The full end-user license agreement will be published here before launch; if anything below conflicts with the full text, the full text wins.

What you're buying

  • A one-time license — not a subscription. There is nothing to cancel because nothing renews.
  • Personal licenses cover one developer for personal or freelance use.
  • Team licenses are per seat (minimum 2) and cover company use. Seats can be reassigned when people leave.
  • Every license includes 12 months of updates. After that your installed version keeps working forever — the perpetual fallback. Renewing for another 12 months of updates is optional and costs 50% of the original price.

Trial and refunds

  • The 14-day trial is full-featured and needs no account or card.
  • Refunds within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.

How licensing works technically

  • Keys are cryptographically signed and verified on your machine. RADAR never contacts a license server — keys work offline, including on air-gapped networks.
  • A license is for people, not machines — use your seat on your desktop and your laptop.

The obvious things

  • Don't share keys outside your license's seats, resell them, or strip the license checks.
  • RADAR is a review assistant. Its output is generated by the model you connect and can be wrong — you remain responsible for what you approve, post, and merge.
  • The software is provided as-is; our liability is capped at what you paid for it.
